Weather in Buzios

Buzios is a small town with approximately 25,000 inhabitants. The eight kilometre span along the coast boasts 20 beaches. The easterly winds do not bring much rain to Buzios and it is the sunniest part of Rio.

Climate and Weather
It rains in Buzios in the summer and temperatures reach a maximum of 29 °C. The weather is hot and humid during this season. Rains can be expected between November and March. Winters are pleasant, with the maximum temperature hovering around 19 °C and the minimum dropping to about 12 °C. It does not normally rain between April and September.

When to Come
It is never a bad time to visit Buzios as the weather is pleasant through the winter months and bearable through summer. But if you are not interested in partying then the best time to visit is the off-season between March and June and from September to November. The advantage of coming during these months is the great weather, easy availability of cheap Buzios accommodation and space on the beaches. The busiest period is between mid-December and mid-February, with January being the peak month.
