A maneira mais comum para chegar a Búzios é partindo da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro ou do Aeroporto Internacional do Rio de Janeiro ou dos hotéis da zona sul e oeste. Seu primeiro objetivo é chegar à Ponte Rio-Niterói, que tem acesso muito fácil de qualquer um dos pontos de partida acima.
Você terá que atravessar a ponte com pedágio e manter a sua esquerda em direção à Região dos Lagos, onde Búzios está localizada. Sempre siga as placas indicando “Via Lagos”, que é a via expressa para a cidade. A estrada está muito bem sinalizada e você só precisa seguir as indicações para Búzios.

Na metade do caminho para Búzios você será capaz de parar para uma pausa no Graal, onde encontrará restaurantes, lojas de presentes, caixas eletrônicos e banheiros. Desse momento em diante vai demorar pelo menos mais uma hora para chegar a um posto de gasolina chamado “Até que enfim Búzios” onde você tem que virar à direita. Esta é uma estrada estreita e você vai precisar reduzir a velocidade um pouco. Cinco minutos mais à frente você terá que virar à esquerda em uma interseção em T para se manter no caminho certo. Vá em frente por cerca de 5 minutos até chegar à outra interseção em T e vire à direita desta vez. Você já está na Praia Rasa.

Continue indo na estrada pavimentada até ver o portão de entrada de Búzios a sua esquerda, que também abriga um dos pontos de informação turística. Agora seu objetivo é chegar à Praiada Ferradura e você precisa seguir em frente passando por Geribá, Praia da Tartaruga e, ao avistar um pequeno parque parque de diversões ao ar-livre, vire à direita. A partir deste ponto já será possível ver as identificações da pousada. Após a delegacia vire a primeira esquerda e novamente a esquerda mais a frente. Você irá passar pela Praia da Ferradura à sua direita e deverá seguir pela esquerda. A Pousada Pedra da Laguna se localiza um pouco mais acima do lado direito.

The most common way to reach Buzios is departing from Rio de Janeiro either from the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro or the hotels in the southern and western zones.

Your first goal is to get to the big Rio-Niteroi Bridge, which has very easy access from any of the above departing points. You will have to cross the Toll Bridge and keep to your left towards "Região dos Lagos" (Lakes Region) where Búzios is located.

Always follow the signs indicating "Via Lagos" which is the express route to the city. The road is pretty well marked and you just need to follow the signs to Búzios. Half way to Búzios, you will be able to stop for a break at the Graal where you will find restaurants, gift shops, ATMs and restrooms.

From that point on it will take at least another hour to reach a gas station named "Até que enfim Búzios" (Búzios at last!), where you turn right. This is a narrower road and you will need to slow down a little bit. Five minutes further ahead you will have to turn left at a "T" intersection to keep going the correct way. Go ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach another "T" intersection and this time turn right. You are already in the Rasa Beach Area. Keep going on the paved road until you see the main entrance gate of Buzios on your left, which also hosts one of the tourist information points.

Now your goal is to reach Ferradura Area and you need to go straight ahead passing by the Geriba area (on the right), Tartaruga beach (on the left). You have to turn right before the little park where you will see a climbing wall, a go-cart track and other attractions. Drive passed the police station on your left and take the following left. Once again you will turn left at the first intersection and you will then be able to follow the Pedra da Laguna Pousada's signs.
