The hotel separates its garbage and recycles cardboard, cooking oil, cans and bottles. Bulbs that consume less energy have been installed and the energy in the rooms is controlled by a card system, therefore, every time the traveller leaves the room the energy is switched off automatically.
The hotel has employed the local community and has also implemented a trainee project. This gives youngsters from the other parts of Brazil the opportunity to learn a profession.
